If you have completed Normal Mode once, then at the beginning of a run, before choosing your playable character, you'll be given the option to change your labyrinth related settings, one of them being between Set Trinkets and Random Trinkets Mode. This setting controls whether the free starting trinkets offered in Anna's Shop at the beginning of Chapter 1 will be predetermined or random. The default setting is Set Trinkets.

- The free trinkets offered in Anna's Shop at the beginning of Chapter 1 are always the same (Potion Pouch, Gaia Shield, Iron Gloves)

◖ random trinkets ◗

- The free trinkets offered in Anna's Shop at the beginning of Chapter 1 are randomly selected from several possible groups
- If playing with Fixed Growths, trinket options that provide additional passive growths are replaced with stat boosting consumables
