hello.

i cleaned up the sidenav a little bit, added a guestbook, and moved this blog-like off the front page. might have to update the sidenav in the future specifically for this blog section, but i guess that is a problem for future me.

i've gotten quite a few questions over the years about me and the things i work on so i'll dedicate a bit of time here to answer a handful.

◖ What are your favorite albums of all time? ◗
i'll list off a few, a full list would go on forever. no particular order. these are albums i enjoy listening to and would recommend other people listen to as well. i'm excluding video game ost's for now, that can be its own list one day.

◖ Have you ever consumed a dandelion? ◗
i don't think so, at least not on purpose. i would try some kind of dandelion food or drink.

◖ What was the first song you wrote? ◗
the first dandelion hands song was "teenage breakup song" i think. the first song that i wrote /ever/ was probably something silly when i was very young. i've been writing little songs and stories since before i learned how to write.

◖ What are some of your favorite songs right now? ◗

◖ What synths do you use? ◗
i think there are too many for me to remember them all. as a starting point, i put a list of the instruments i used for dhid!!v2 on the bandcamp page. i mostly use old "toy" keyboards from the 80s. i've been accumulating so many that i have to consider it a collection at this point. it started as a cheap investment into actually owning an instrument, but has since grown into a deep appreciation for things people may consider obsolete or unnecessary. if you're asking because you want to buy one for yourself to record in your bedroom, consider just getting a midi keyboard and finding clean samples of any individual synth's presets instead. or go to your local goodwill-like and grab literally the cheapest one, like the old crusty one thats like $5. the instument doesn't make the musician, the musician makes makes the songs or something like that.

◖ What is your favorite kind of juice? ◗
the best juice is probably pineapple or cranberry.

◖ What is your favorite Minecraft mob? ◗
herobrine.

◖ What is your favorite song lyrics that you have written? ◗
the things i wrote that i would consider my favorites are meaningless in the eyes of the beholder. there being any particular lines that are worthy to be called a favorite is up to you, not me. i'm happy to keep the things i'm proud of close to my heart, no matter how silly or arbitrary they happen to be. and i'm happy that there is room for you to keep it close to your heart too, no matter how long it resonates.

◖ Are you ever going to go on tour? ◗
maybe one day. it is not something i am currently working on or planning. maybe when hologram tours are more accessable.

◖ Are you ever going to preform again? ◗
i think that playing individual one off shows is /much/ more likely than a tour. once my hand starts working again and i can actually practice, i'd really enjoy playing a show somewhere close.

◖ What is your favorite type of noodle? ◗
the go-to is probably angel hair but farfalle, fusilli, and gemelli are great alternatives.

◖ What inspired you to start making music? ◗
we all escape into something.
