"it's okay to die!
it's unlikely you're going to win on your first try.
you might not even win your one millionth try.
don't sweat it!"

"looking for a little more control over your inventory?
by default, items in the carriage's inventory are automatically sent to the convoy.
to turn this off, use the grimoire ability with the carriage,
go to options and set auto send to convoy to off.
now item management is entirely up to you!"

"if you happen to run into any thieves or rogues, guard your valuables!
they're more focused on taking your accessories than taking your life.
consider sending anything you'd be upset losing to the convoy until the coast is clear."

"devil weapons are extremely powerful and require very little weapon experience,
but can also backfire and damage the wielder.
the higher a unit's luck stat is, the lower the chance is for the weapon to backfire."

"if you really want to start the game with a specific character,
try inputting one of these passwords at the hub tavern.
the first one is free. don't worry, i won't tell anyone."

effective weapons can be useful against many of the tougher enemies.
especially in the later chapters,
you're going to need every advantage you can get."

"it's only really a loss if you didn't learn anything."

"use the terrain to your advantage.
when you find yourself outnumbered,
ending your turn on a forest tile will provide some extra avoid,
while bottlenecking a 1 tile pathway can slow down the flow of enemies."

"did you know your deployed unit can use vulneraries without having to be in battle?
before landing the final blow of a battle,
have your deployed unit take a vuln out of the convoy.
now while you're choosing your next node, your deployed unit will heal itself.
you can change how they heal by using the grimoire ability and selecting self healing ai."

"when chapters are loading, the screen goes black for a pretty long time.
it's okay, the game is just thinking really really hard.
it'd probably take you a long time to think if you were turned into a roguelike too."

"if you ever notice that it is raining off the beaten path,
consider spending some time fishing.
your chance to land a catch while it's raining is more than doubled."

hp is a resource.
the only hp that really matters is the last one.

"did you know that you can change the color palette of off the beaten path?
while in the hub, go to misc. then hub palette.
it may be small,
but i hope you enjoy this tiny way to make the hub your own."
